Privacy Policy
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to Dauson Lab and its associated platforms, including its app and future websites (collectively referred to as “the Website”), operated by Dauson Lab Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “DSL”), for the sale of goods or services through e-commerce.
The purpose of these Terms is to protect the interests of the Website, DSL, and you as a user. By clicking “I Agree” or a similar option, or by placing orders, making payments, consuming products/services, or requesting proxy purchases on the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms herein.
1. Users
To make purchases on the Website, you must first provide a valid and active email address or mobile number and set a password during your first order. Once your data is recorded or your first purchase is made, our system will save your email/mobile and password for future logins and purchases.
You are responsible for keeping your email/mobile number and password secure. Do not disclose, lend, or transfer your login information to others. Any actions taken under your login credentials will be your responsibility.
If you suspect your account has been compromised, notify us immediately. We will suspend transactions under that account upon confirmation of misuse.
To delete your account, please contact us at support@dausonlab.com and our customer service team will assist you.
2. Personal Data Security
DSL complies with personal data protection laws. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
To complete a transaction (including payment and delivery), you must ensure that all provided information is accurate and up-to-date. If your information changes, you must notify DSL promptly.
We implement secure transaction systems and pledge confidentiality. Your data will not be disclosed or shared with third parties except for transaction-related service providers. If international shipping is involved, relevant providers may be located overseas, and your data may be transferred internationally to fulfill your order.
DSL may disclose your data to authorities or third parties who can prove their rights are being violated under the following circumstances:
-
When required by law or a court/authorized institution;
-
To fulfill a transaction or enforce these terms, or in case of a breach;
-
To protect DSL’s system integrity and security;
-
To protect DSL’s, other users’, or third parties’ legitimate rights.
3. Online Ordering
In addition to these Terms, all details shown during the purchase process (product pages, transaction terms, etc.) form part of the contract.
Generally, purchases on the Website are handled by DSL. However, some products or services may be provided by third parties, in which case you are entering a contract with them, and DSL acts only as a marketing, payment, or platform provider.
Submitting an order on the Website constitutes an offer to purchase under the terms stated in these Terms and on relevant product pages. You must notify DSL immediately if your contact information changes, as incorrect data cannot be used to cancel orders or refuse payment.
After placing your order, you will receive an automated confirmation email. This does not mean your order is accepted or the contract is concluded. DSL reserves the right to accept or reject orders. Orders will only proceed if the terms are correct, items are in stock, and no issues arise.
If duplicate orders are placed for limited-quantity items, priority will be given to the first completed transaction. No further notification will be issued, but you can track your order status online.
If you pay by credit card, the information is used only to verify the card and obtain authorization. Payment is not taken until the order is accepted. If you choose installment payments, that contract is between you and your card issuer.
Although DSL strives to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee that all web content is fully accurate or up-to-date. If a product specification, description, or price is incorrect, the following applies:
-
If a price is shown higher than the correct price, you’ll be charged the lower price.
-
If a price is shown lower than the correct price, DSL reserves the right to cancel the order.
Any price labeled “Suggested Retail Price,” “Retail Price,” or similar is for reference only and not necessarily the market price.
Product quality, warranty, and after-sales service are the responsibility of the manufacturer or distributor, but DSL will assist with related disputes or issues.
Shipping costs and methods are specified on the product pages. If not specified, DSL will cover the shipping fee. If delivery fails after two attempts and no contact is made within two days, the order will be canceled and refunded.
All transactions are legally valid in electronic form. You can check your order history after logging into your account. Please notify DSL immediately if there is any error.
Some links on the Website lead to third-party content. DSL does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of this content.
If product details are provided by a third party, DSL does not guarantee their accuracy or timeliness.
If you have any complaints or disputes, please use the customer service system provided on the Website.
4. Returns and Refunds
If the received product significantly differs from its description, you may request a full refund within 7 days. Return shipping is at your expense.
Please refer to our [Refund Policy and After-Sales Service Terms] for full details.
Returned items must be in original condition with all accessories, packaging, gifts, documents, and invoices (if issued). DSL may reject returns that are incomplete.
You agree that if a return, order cancellation, or refund is required, DSL may handle the required tax documents (e.g., credit notes) on your behalf.
5. System Security and Data Backup
DSL will maintain a reasonable level of system security. However, we do not guarantee that all uploaded or transmitted data will display correctly or remain intact. Notify DSL immediately if you detect any issues.
Our system is regularly backed up, but unless caused by gross negligence, DSL is not responsible for any data loss or backup failures.
6. Interpretation of the Contract
If any clause is found to be invalid by a court, the rest shall remain in effect. The invalid clause will be interpreted to the fullest lawful extent in line with its original intent.
Failure to enforce any rights under these Terms does not waive the enforcement of other rights.
In accordance with Article 11-2 of the Consumer Protection Act, any ambiguity in standard terms shall be interpreted in favor of the consumer.
7. Miscellaneous
If DSL transfers the e-commerce platform or related business operations to a third party, all rights, obligations, and user data may be transferred along with it.
If DSL is required to compensate or reimburse you for any reason, the maximum liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the disputed transaction.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All online orders, transactions, and actions on the Website shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
In the event of any legal dispute, unless otherwise mandated by law, the Taipei District Court in Taiwan shall be the court of first instance.
